    Sh-847 RR

Sorry if this has been covered, the search feature is a little lame and there were no hits. I am about to go over the electrics on the new 1100. Anyone have experience with the new SH-847 RR as used in the V-Strom 1000? Pretty spendy, wondering if our ancient bikes even need more capacity over the 775. Suzuki part number is 32800-31J00. It is huge....

Apparently it is a new R/R in the SERIES lineup from Shindengen. Don't see the point the SH775 is rated at more than enough and rather than go that way teh Compufire is 40 amp rated.

    Bad Voltage Regulator ...OR?

    I just used Google

DeCosse thinks the 847 is one of the 50 amp units previously shown as in development.
