Where to get decent new reg/rec?

Hi all. My GS 2 valve reg/rec has gone again, 6 months after I last replaced it with a supposed quality aftermarket part off Flea-Bay. So, without paying genuine new part prices, anyone know where I can get a pattern part that will actually last? New preferably; Suzuki or Super Dream conversion. I'm in the UK. Cheers.

Don't waste any more time and money on dodgy parts - fit a Polaris reg/rec and enjoy reliability.

    Polaris part no 4012941
    (Polaris REGULATOR-3PH,35A,SERIES,105C for 2011 Polaris R11HR76AG/AR RANGER 6X6 800 EFI 4012941)

Then find a Triumph dealer and buy this harness adapter for a tenner...

      Agree.

This should be a sticky. No matter how many times we tell people to get these parts there is still a new thread every other week on this subject.

Be aware that some bay sellers are offering 'direct replacements' for the Polaris part 4012941. In most cases they are not series regulators but a shunt MOSFET type with ' temperature protection'.

Yes, switching to a series r/r will prolong the life of a working stator. Do some reading..
