7 volts at the coils

Hi ive 86 gs 55o wont start no spark i only read 7.3 volts to the coils and wires to ignition switch are getting hot , the r/r wires are getting a little hot also ( please dont say igniter box) stator?Thanks!

I did accidently run the bike with black wire to the r/r disconnected (loose connection the came apart).

Yes, 7.3 volts is low, but under what circumstances was that measured?
Key ON, bike not running?
Bike running?
Lights ON or OFF?

While you measured that 7.3 volts, what was the battery voltage under the same circumstances?

Disconnect the r/r and see if it will fire up on just a fully charged battery.
