Okay, I am staring at the electrical components (left side) and the battery behind them and I cannot figure out how to remove the battery. I see it, it's right there, but after removing the two bolts holding the component plate to the frame, I see no way to slide/wedge/grunt the battery out. I don't see how removing the airbox would help so...how stupid am I? What am I missing? Jeers and barbs welcome. Thanks.

Yes, remove the air filter box and tada, there it is.

I would rather trust my bike to a technician that reads the service manual than some backyardigan that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix things. -

You're quickly going to find out that Suzuki built these bikes starting with the battery, and assembled everything else around it. Worst access ever!

I haven't been on for a while been busy making metal chips in the shop, new straight cut gear set,and some other stuff, Worked on my new (to me) 1150 was it ever a PITA to try to get the battery out of it ,was darn ridiculous. Talk about **** engineering , Later MikeComment
