    Irish / German De-Oxit

This looks promising - the blurb promises much, but will it deliver as much as the fabled DeOxit? Who knows, but I'll soon find out. Wurth have a massive warehouse in Limerick, and the factory shop will probably post some out.

There are actually 4 products listed including SL,SW,OL,OS. OS is the one I would be mainly looking for to provide the surface treatment to provide long term oxidation protection.

I have actually used DeOxit to stop flash rust on a gas tank center that I was cleaning up. It stabilized the steel surface and stopped teh rust long enough for me to finish the repairs and get it back into the tank.

I used Acid Magic to clean and scrape off the rust.
