    Wiring a speedometer.

I just picked up a m-unit v2. I understand how to wire the bike itself. I know how to get the lights to come on. What I am unsure of is how do I get my speedometer to show the little indicators for what's on?

My thought is I have a wire running from each device to the speedometer.

    Does that sound correct?

I would love to help you but have no idea what a "m-unit v2" is or what you want to know. What do you mean by :"little indicators" and what do you mean "what is going on".

I think he's talking about the "idiot lights" in his speedo. The M2 units have built in flasher relays and terminals for neutral lights etc.

To answer the question - yes you need to run wires from the unit to the bulbs in your speedo.
        Current:
Z1300A5 Locomotive (swapped my Intruder for it), GS450 Cafe Project (might never finish it....), XT500 Commuter (I know - it's a Yamaha )

        Past:
        VL1500 Intruder (swapped for Z1300), ZX9R Streetfighter (lets face it - too fast....), 1984 GSX750EF, 1984 GSX1100EF (AKA GS1150)
And a bunch of other crap Yamahas....
