    This is pricy but may be a lot better than trusting a used parts auction on ebay.

    Signal generators are reliable. I'll take my chances on a used set. You can get several sets for the price of that MSD part.

      Grossly over-priced, when you can pick up generic auto pick-ups for twenty bucks or less.

        link me to generic auto pick ups please.
        This unit goes with the MSD bike ignitions. I guess thats why it seems over priced to the frugal types here.
