81 GS550 fuel gauge supposed to be backlit?

    81 GS550 fuel gauge supposed to be backlit?

    When I turn my lights on the speedo and tach light up but not the fuel gauge. Is there a light for it that I didn't see when i took the cluster cover off?

          The L model came with a fuel gauge. There should be a bulb on the rear bottom of the center indicator set. It might be burnt out.

                      Yep. It was hidden behind the bracket on the bottom right side so I couldn't see it when i took the cover off the first time. I had to remove the tach so i could lift the cluster out and get access to it.
