v1 is not for sale anymore, this was sort of a pre-production model.
v2 is still for sale but production has stopped.

    I think flatline_racing has the v2

I bought mine in April 2011. I am 98% sure it is the first version. Bought it right from Motogadget. I dont see any reason to try and find a V1. go for the 2 or the blue.

2011 ? wow yes that is probably the v1. I should not make assumptions.

Agreed, if you can spend the $, buy the "v3" blue, many advantages to the latest model.

I agree. looks like best price on ebay is ~$500 CAD and includes shipping and the wiring kit. Item

I'd be curious to hear any feedback, particularly where anyone might be left wanton with the m.unit. As a new motorcyclist and fairly seasoned EE, I am hoping to spin a board and circuit design very similar to m.unit just for my purposes for my GS850G project, but also curious about pursuing possible commercialization. However, need to get the prototype first, and any ideas of improvement and enhancements at this stage could make it into final product -- hopefully providing more at a lower price point too!

I produced and sold about 50 of these here at the GSR. I completed a redesign and then ran into so parts obsolescence issues and never completed it. I'm not producing anymore due to the limited market for a GS specific device.
