80' 850gl wiring questions

Hey folks, its been a little while. My bike project is crawling but I'm making progress none the less.

I have rewired the bike completely, and am now having trouble figuring out final steps regarding battery connections and grounding of the fuse box and starter/ solenoid. Note: I am 100% using the original wiring guide, but no battery box!

questions/unknowns are in Bold.

The solenoid has a huge red (battery) and a smaller red (?) I'm unsure of how it gets grounded.

The fuse box has huge red (?) and a smaller red (r/r). I am assuming it gets grounded via a bolt through the one of the mounting holes.

The starter motor has a single large cable, with a yellow shrink wrapped/looped end. I'm assuming it goes on the opposite mounting post of the solenoid. I'm unsure of how it gets grounded.

Solenoid only needs a ground for the y/g start wire.

the fuse box does not need a ground unless you have a st of accessory power terminals .look at the schematic. There should be a b/w wire.

the starter current returns through its mount to the engine block to the black ground strap at battery (-)
