    Electronic ignition

I have a '79 GS750L and want to replace the point ignition with solid state. Please give me recommendations on what brand I should use. I also want to buy a chain and sprocket set that I'll never have to worry about. Thanks!!

    Dyna S for ignition.

Convert your bike from 630 to 530. Tons of info on this if you search. Or call Z1 Enterprises and they will hook you up.

I installed the Dyna S ignition, but, when I try to open the throttle more than 2/3 she wants to hesitate and spit and sputter. I can only rev up to about 5000rpm before she starts hesitating. She has new OEM coils and I'm wondering if that might be the problem. Any thoughts?

Improper timing or advance not working properly.

Yes, check that advancer is not stuck...should move freely when you twist it about 30 degrees.

The advance works fine. Any other ideas?

Was it running ok before you upgraded the ignition system? Or was this the hoped for solution? How long have you had this critter? Stock airbox/filter setup?

Are you running pod filters? If so what brand?
