1982 GS850GL - coil replacement options

Hi,

Looks like my 82 GS850GL has a bad coil (left side - plugs #2 & 3). Resistance from the spark plug wires is < 12K.

Not up to spending $140 for a new set of coils.

Either buying a used one or possible the set listed below. Anyone have any luck with these after market coils?

I have used those on my Yamaha, they have worked great. The ones I got were made in UK, ai brand. You can find therm a little cheaper too , like 30 dollars each.

Can't think of any reason they wouldn't work.

Do yourself a favor, i keeped buying ebay used coils,spend the $ 140.00 and get some Dyna coils,my bike has never run better.
