    New R/R GS750

    Hey everyone,

I recently bought this new battery for my 1978 GS750, I know I will need to update my R/R and was just wondering if the SH775 would work properly with this battery?

It's a bit of a lightweight for a GS750, which are (iirc) normally specified a 14Ah size and much higher CCA. It will work, but might not last as long as it would if it were heavier duty. Probably fine for summer use, though.

This one is the size I'd go for.

Dave is right. 14Ah is what the manual calls for. I ran a 12Ah for 2 years without issue. Thought it had died so I sprung for an AGM in the correct size.
