Where is the rear brake switch located on a GS450L

Brake lights do not come on when the rear brake is depressed however work fine with the front brake level.

I have looked all over the pedal and cannot see a switch anywhere, so wondering where is it located as I am guessing it is missing. Don't even see loose wires.

Follow the frame rail up and back, toward the top of the rear shock. You should see a switch there, connected to the pedal with a thin spring.

On my 82 450t if you look where the brake lever pivots at the frame you'll see where the brake rod is attached behind that frame piece, the switch is just forward of that.
