The diagram was for a 80 gs850 i have an 82, i must have read it wrong. I dont know how to upload a better picture, my regrec is a 5 wire red black and 3 phase leads

sorry My mistake..I should have said 4, 5 or 6 wires...Black will most likely be the "Ground" wire....Attach it to a clean shiny spot on the frame or Negative on the battery...but, if attaching it to the frame or negative stops output entirely, it is the "sense" wire...
What works for me-Pictures can be easily resized as I post them by "double-clicking" it ...a dialogue opens so I can choose the size...Comment
