    Not saying any of those items was unnecessary, but I'll bet most, if not all, of your problem would have been fixed by simply removing the fuel filter.

    Start with that on your dad's bike.

      I wished that were the problem on my dad's. His doesn't have an inline fuel filter. But the problem is very close to the same problem I faced with mine. Also his carbs have probably never been dipped so that's a must and his air box hoses are so hard and dry that you can't even get them back on the carbs. If I run into any issues with his I'll probably be starting another thread . But if I do everything right it then it hopefully won't get to that.

        When you dip your dad's carbs, remember to ignore the time suggestion on the can.

          Yes sir. Planning on dipping for at least 20 hours for each carb.
