LED conversion

Does your bike have self-cancelling turn signals? If it does, you will have other decisions to make in the process of converting to LEDs. (That flasher would be the least of your worries.)
Next, have you upgraded your R/R to a series-type? Either Compufire or SH775?
What is your motivation to convert to LED? Let us know what you want to do, and why, we can offer better guesses that might look like suggestions, maybe even recommendations.

So right now I'm running led rear turns and found a headlight that runs integrated signals(all LED) and I want to keep it as clean as possible. As of right now I'm working on hunting down an sh775 but do have a OEM r/r. And my signals are not self cancelling. Right now it's just a matter of making it as simple and clean as possible.

If you don't have self-cancelling signals, the conversion is easier. That flasher, or a similar one from your local auto parts store, might need just a bit of adaptation in the wiring, but should work fine.
Speaking of "local auto parts store", where are you? Can't tell if you are next door to me or around the world, so we can't make suggestion on where to shop for your parts.

This sounds unsafe. "Separation" is important for other drivers to see what you intend. There are standards of safety and turn signals are included....in other words, you coud get a ticket. But more important, Remember. People look at cars all year, not single headlamps with signals ...I wonder what the angle of view is too, if these are INSIDE the headlight as I have recently seen on ebay..found a headlight that runs integrated signals(all LED)
Be aware that your dash indicator needs modification for leds. If power-saving is a reason you save more power over time, by replacing all the other little lamps in your dash! than turn signals.

Exactly. I've seen these dangerous pieces of shyt creeping onto the market in the past year or two and surprised anyone is incautious enough to fit them and rely on them for the most important front indicators.Originally posted by Gorminrider View PostThis sounds unsafe. Bike aware as I am, I would find it difficult to discern the stupid little LED light to the side of the rather bright headlight during the day. Night time, it will be better, but I wouldn't bet my life on it and that's what people are doing.Dave

Actually, it only needs to be modified if you have a single indicator.Originally posted by Gorminrider View PostBe aware that your dash indicator needs modification for leds.
If you have separate indicators on the dash for each side, no modification is necessary.

I'm not a fan of the look myself, but we have had a couple of bikes come through the shop and the led turn lights are very bright especially compared to the little turn signals that people have been using. Anyone in front of the bike will see them day or night if they are even paying attention. That is the biggest problem, people just don't pay attention. Also when people are going to make a turn they tend to position themselves to the side of the lane in the direction they are going to turn and if anything this is what lets them know which way they are turning, more than the slow flashing regular turn signals that to me, do a lousy job of getting attention that these do.Originally posted by Grimly View PostExactly.
