    Igniter? Which wire is ground?

On the igniter box, is the black wire on the 4pin plug the ground?

    Yes and no.

There are two black wires. One has a yellow stripe, the other has a white stripe.

The yellow-striped wire goes to the right coil for 2 & 3. The white-striped wire is your ground.

Thank you. I couldn?t quite tell what color the strip was, but it was melted and looked like it went to ground. The motorcycle was running fine so I assume it was ground, although probably weak.
