hey everyone sorry for the dumb question but i just bought a 1980 gs550L not running and the previous owner told me the igniter was the issue and i believe him because i tested the coils and the electronic advance and they both seem to be good. so in my search for an igniter is where I'm getting confused because i can only find a couple old ones on eBay for $200. if i buy the DYNATEK DYNA S will that by pass the igniter and fix my problem or will i still have a bike with no spark?

THe dynaS eliminates the stock ignitor and signal coils....so if the ignitor is the issue, go for the dyna.
lots of 550 ignitors have failed, so avoid buying a used eBay unless you feel lucky.1981 gs650L
