    Aftermarket ignition on GS850G - ID request

    This is on my '79 GS850G, It has no name I can see, but has a couple of numbers, 42 9 stamped into the back. Mainly curious what it is, but if someone wants it, let me know.

    That has the semi melted look of a Prestolite ignition module.
    1983 GS1100E, 1986 GS1150EF

      You might want to trace the output wires and see if there is an ignitor box with identification in the system.

        I think it is Prestolite, looked at one on eBay and very similar. I checked wiring but no ignitor, will check the parts box but think it may be a lost cause.
