Suzuki GS1000E 1980 Battery Box Question

Hi Guys, I have purchased a new stainless battery box for the GS1000, does anyone know what the small black electrical unit is, that attaches to the right hand side of the battery carrier and is held in place by a clip band, it has two wiring connections

It's the TSCU for the indicators, Dave. The self cancel unit in other words.

My bikes 79 GS1000 1085 checked and approved by stator the GSR mascot :eagerness: and 77 GS750 with 850 top end, GS850g, and my eldest sons 78 GS550, youngest sons GS125. Project bike 79 GS1000N
