Replacement handlebar for a 1978 GS1000? Closest to OEM?

I had an oops moment and trashed my handlebars. Dignity still intact but barely.

I ordered what I thought, and some sellers claimed, was a replacement for them.

EMGO Chrome 7/8 in. LTD Handlebar - 23-12541

As you can see from the attached picture, they do not sweep back as far as my old bars.

Even with my old bars I had even thought about putting 1" handlebar pullback to make my sitting position even more straight up.

If anyone knows the bars that will match the old bars on my bike (I assume they are OEM) I would be grateful.

Please somebody tell me if I'm wrong. I've always thought all GS's 1977 through1980, GS550 through GS1000, except "L" and "S" models use the same bars. I never sat there and measured them all, but all I've ridden with were just a little taller than I prefer. If this is true, it'll increase your search for OEM by a lot.

I think I'd try them, they look like they might give a better feel, not as tall. They look like they would be comfortable. Of course, only you can tell.
