    Front indicator

Hello everyone. My front left indicator isnt working on my 1980 GS850. I checked the voltage at the globe holder and it was only .05 volts flashing on and off. I can use a multimeter but im no expert with electrics. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks Chris

I'll bet if you take the headlamp out of the bucket and trace both the + & ground wires for that lamp, you'll find something. A wiring diagram is always helpful. Look on BikeCliff's Website (there's that site again) https://gsarchive.bwringer.com/

yes. Usually just 3 screws around the edge. I’m sure models vary, but most likely 12, 4 and 8 o’clock around the outside of the bucket. I’m hoping you’ve noticed I’ve twice now directed you to BikeCliffs website, where you’ll find factory service manual, wiring diagrams and a whole lot more.

Getting headlight out will be a piece of cake, Sometimes getting it back in can be quite an aggravation.... Not complicated, just aggravating.
