    Suzuki GS650e 1983 Throttle Cable

    Hello,

My throttle cable just broke on my GS6502 1983, it's very hard to find this part !

Do you have some tips ? Adaptable part ?

    Thanks GS Team !

Looks like cmsnl has them. part # 58300-44231. I did not find a 650E model in '83. This one is an '82 and it's a US model. Look around the site a bit, maybe I'm just not seeing it. I believe this is where many Europeans but their OEM parts on-line.

Thank you for the reply !

I've discut with a specialist, he just told me to go in a scooter/bike shop and buy a generic cable. Where I can find the length and the ?

Maybe 1.2mm⌀, and cut the lenght ?

      Thank you

If you're going to go that route, I'd just remove the throttle cable that's on the bike, even if the braided cable is broken, and take the pieces to the bike shop and try to match length and the ends up the best they can.

Skip the adjustable bike shop cable and get correct part as it will make things easier to hook up.
