My seat is stuck locked. The pin is frozen, but the key turns 3/4 the way freely. I have tried spraying it with penetrant and lube, but it's still stuck. Has anyone else had this problem or know where I should start?

On your '78 GS1000, can you wiggle the seat or push it down to free the latch as you jiggle the key?

On my 250 i have 2 metal spring loaded tabs that lock the seat in place about half way up each side, as well as the key on the back.Comment
