Ooops! I hate it when my bike makes me look like a fool... done stuff like that too, very frustrating, but at least now you got good new rubbery boots to give a nice seal to the intake

Hmmm something doesn't seem right there... lots of smoke, is it blue?
Seems maybe it's rich? Not sure, but it definitely isn't idling smoothly.
It does sound mechanically good, just not firing right, whether it's fuelling or ignition though I'm not sure...Comment

I`m going to try new spark plugs the ones in there might be fouled and incorrectly adjusted .Comment

Carb sync not going as planned . A cookie for anyone who knows why the guages are not going up very much on the carbtune . I put the restrictors on at the carb end of the hoses and at first the guages seemed to go up a little so I tightened everything up and now nothing . Is it I don`t need restrictors in the hoses ?

Well i tryed adjusting the screw and could get one side to go up and then the other so i stopped midway between them .Comment

Took the carbs off again and put the boots on better and upright this time and sync went well .

Another update cleaned the tank with evaprust ,cleaned carbs again , still dosn`t idle very good and the revs don`t seem to rise as quickly as they should . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5LvB1jVjrhg
