Thanks, Ray. I didn't know that was a possibility. I'll keep my fingers crossed until I can try to test a bit of it in some water for absorption.

Yes Bob, you are correct the GS Suzukis use the 10mm x 1.0mm pitch banjo bolt. Kawasaki use a 1.25mm pitch on their banjo bolts (just for reference).The Katana site (http://www.suzuki-katana.com/katana_specifications.html) lists it as 10 X 1.0. I'd guess that's the same as the other GS bikes. Anyone else have different into?Comment

I like the idea of this style switch better, but I was wondering if it could be done at the "split" for the front calipers. I'm not sure I could get the boot back on at the MC. I don't have the bike with me right now to take a look at the setup. Has anyone done this swap?Comment
