Anti-seize & Loctite
Is there a general rule of thumb on when to use anti-seize and when to use loctite blue? I know I should use loctite on critical safety parts such as brake calipers and the like but I find myself wanting the properties of both on many bolts.-Mal

The factory service manual details when to use thread locker and what type. Get your copy from basscliff's web site if you haven't already.
As for anti-seize, use it on everything that doesn't get thread lock.Ed

What he said .
I use a nickel based high temp antisieze EVERYWHERE that I don't use thread lock . A bit messy but very goodly (especially a coupla years down the track when you need to pull things apart again) .
Cheers , Simon .
