    Air Forks help, please

Got this 450GSA. It has front air asst forks- much like an 1100 (I thinks?) and some other suzuki bikes.
Tried to unscew the air nut. Tried pressing down and picking out the wire ring seal. Tried beating, cursing, praying.
How do yall get these off?

Looks to me like you press down on air nut gizmo, and with your third hand pop circlip ring out of groove (use little screwdriver) and pull out air nut/stopper. beware spring pressure!

Small socket on the end of an extension. Pop the socket over the air valve and give it a sharp tap - this will free off the cap (just a tap - don't beat the hell out of it). Then just push down gently to expose the circlip and pop it out with a small screwdriver. The key is that sharp tap, just to loosen things off.
