Oil Leak : Tach cable

I threw a new o-ring in the head piece... still leaks like crazy. Enough to have coated the top of my motor with oil and the entire front.

Any tips here??

There's two seals in there.

Hi,

You might even have to replace the driven gear if it's worn. It's all in the guide Mr. Larry D linked to.

Check your valve cover gasket for leaks.

Also check where the crimp is on the lower end of the cable. That was where mine was leaking from pretty badly. You may need to replace the cable.
