    Is this seat swap possible?

    I've got an 83 GS550LD stock seat and was wondering if it would fit on an 85 GS300L

      One thing in your favor is that they are both "L"s, but the 550 frame and mounts might be a bit different than the 300, so ... maybe.

              It might even bolt right on. Who knows?

              It sounds like you have a300L and a 550L seat? If so take a minute to find out if it fits.
