will the 79 850 speedo cable work on my 81?

it looks like this will work on my 81 850g...will it? i didnt know if it was any diff then my newly broke one

It would really be surprising if it didn't fit, but you could check a parts diagram to be sure.

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.
