Motor install idea.

Below is a slide show of an idea I tried out to install my motor. It worked very well this time, I wil make some adjustments for the next time. My frame has non-removable lower mounts and I have to remove the cylinder head to pull the motor. Normally I would pull as much of the motor apart as I could to make it lighter but tried this instead. I place these pics in my profile on this site incase the slide show does not work properly. I remember seeing on here a guy laying the bike on its side and lifting the frame off, I'm not doing that on a bike I'm not parting out.

We use that 8020 extrusion for a bunch of stuff in our shop. Comes in handy !

Wow this is great! And perfect timing. I just pulled my motor out solo and was wondering how I'd get it back in solo when the time comes.

I work with 8020 every day. Good stuff. Much better than Unistrut. They sell on Ebay, which is a plus for home projects.

I guess that works great if the top of the enigne is not yet bolted on, I certainly did not have that much clearance to put mine back in......I had to do it another way....
