Rear Wheel "catches" every 3rd turn...

    Yes... It's coming from the front sprocket. I tried to see if the chain is rubbing anything, but I can't tell. I just added another post above this with some stuff I found.

      the sprockets actually look in very good condition, as does the chain apart from looking very dry. give the chain a good lubricating and see if that helps any..

        I'll give it a shot. I think I may just change the chain/sprockets anyway if it will make the bike smoother.

          lubricating a very dry chain will make it a whole lot smoother by itself. give it a try.......
