Almost all of them had single brakes. Do a little research before you make up your lies.

Uh, no: It depends on one's definition of a vehicle's year of manufacture.

Nothing has been made up, and none of it is a lie.

Haha, whatever. It's not like I am masquerading around, looking for $5,000 for a mud fence.

I am just tired of high-horsed and pedantic finger pointers.

The title is based on the registration/sale date, not the manufacture date. The site does indicate that in 1977 the bikes had dual discs.

But they mostly didn't. If you knew the bikes you'd know this.

If you knew Wisconsin like I do, you would be aware that all bikes sold before October 1st 1980 we titled based on registration date (year) and not manufacture year.

Whatever, this thread isn't helping me achieve my goals, so I'm exiting.

                          Stage left.

                          And quickly even.

                            this is simple.
                            your information is wrong...period.
you have the wrong handlebars and i have owned many pre-80 GS750's with wire rim and single disc up front.
and what about this so called "special wrench" to choke the bike to warm it up for the day?
i mean you sound so misinformed i feel sorry for you.
i do apologize for the moron comment's but man...come on.
i have lived GS suzuki's for 2/3's of my life...
me and the other's are stating facts.
                            that's all.........................

The single disc spoke wheel flat bench seat non E GS750 was produced through the 1979 model year. Mine is a '79, produced in '78. I don't know numbers but I think all 750 variants sold in fairly high numbers and in any event not 'collectible' though I'll 'collect' any that people give me .

                                From http://www.suzukicycles.org,
"Officially 1977 was the first model year for the GS750. I only presented the '76 GS750 because of the lack of the right side front disc."
The Suzuki VIN reference documents also indicate that 1977 was the first model year.

The date of manufacture doesn't necessarily coincide with the model year.
Its also fairly common for manufacturers to begin selling a vehicle before the beginning of the year.

So its a 1977 model manufactured in 1976 & first titled in 1976.
                                Nothing unusual about that.
