    Vin plate

Restoring a 1978 GS750 EC and the vin plate (decal) has been damaged. Can someone take a photo of a similar decal so I can get the information from it and format

I think mine's mostly intact. I'll take a look at it in the morning and snap a picture if there's enough there to make it worthwhile.

There is a supplier that makes new VIN decals for the GS's, I almost needed one but managed to salvage mine but did find them here.
They should be able to reproduce yours as they do the GS1000.

With a photo you can make one in Word or Paint and make it almost identical to stock. Then have the decal made.

I do to all my bikes like that.

Sometimes google images comes in handy for that. But there must be someone here with a pic of theirs.
