    Newbie Question

    I have a 1983 gs 1100e i got from the shop and i want too put a battery tender on it but i dont know how to take the seat off can anyone help with this ?

    Key in rear fender. 2 pull latches underseat. This wont get you access to the battery without pulling the air box. Pull the left panel then the fuse cover and you will find a positive and negative post at the bottom.

        Call me at 714--356-7845. I am over by Disneyland & can help you if you need. I specialize in 1100s & 1150s & build & race them. I also have manuals if you want to come look at one. Once you get the seat off, remove those 2 latches underneath & you will be MUCH happier when it comes time to remove the seat again! Ray.
