Where would a center stand be connected on 1979 gs850g

    Hi everyone

    I have a new (to me) 79 suzuki gs850g.

On checking, I seem to have a kickstand, but no center stand.

(I know the model originally would have had one, since every picture of one I see is almost always on the center stand.)

I checked the official service manual and a copy of the clymer I purchased and none of them show the center stand or kick stand.

where would I connect a new center stand to ?

    Thanks

right below the back of the tranny on the frame..youll see the brackets there with holes for the bolts. If you buy a stand be sure that it comes with the bushings and bolts. And the spring.
