Front brake master cylinder '81 850G

I need to purchase a front brake master cylinder for an '81 850G. On eBay there are some that have a circular reservoir and some that have a square reservoir listed for the same year. Is there a difference in the two?

Functionally, they would be the same. The round ones came on bikes through '79, the rectangular ones showed up in '80.

My '81 came from PO with a round one fitted. No complaints in the braking department so far.

If it were my bike, I would be looking for an '82 model from an 850 or 1100 as the earlier ones all had plastic reservoirs that tend to need to be replaced or repaired.
