Bondo?

Hard to tell from that picture.
I see various things that are black, silver, red, and apparently white. Which one of these are you asking about?

If the tank is dented $ to donuts it is plastic filler. Grind it all out and refill with fine fiberglass reinforced waterproof filler. If you can pop out part of the dent before hand so much the better.Comment

I wire brushed it off. Its was bondo. And there is a dent. I've seen guys dish gas tanks with rounded plastic hammers. I making a bobber so this gives me reason to dish this tank, since there's already a dent there.Comment
