    Rear brake lever staying down

Okay first for those who don't know I have a 1982 GS1100G the problem is whenever I go to stop the foot brake lever does not come back up the brake works I just have to reach down and pull it back up before taking off again. I have not really looked at it much been having to much fun riding is there a spring that is supposed to pull it back up or something else.

Take the pedal off, unhook the spring and the arm to the master cylinder and remove the hinge assembly. Derust the frame hole and the armature and grease it up good.

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.
