Well I was pleasantly surprised. The seller issued me a refund for the cable mixup in spite of length of time.


Unfortunately dealership closed today...

That's good news. Maybe you could give them a shout out, if they follow through with the correct cable.

If changing a clutch cable constitutes a significant project you might want to consider a new hobby. Or at least getting a newer bike that needs less work.

Well I would prefer to ride not repair... But I love the old classics. (I grew up riding with my dad on his Yamaha 500 two stroke back in the mid 70`s). I like the fact it has an actual kick starter.

I didn't have as much of an issue with the petcock, fuel and vacuum lines or ignition switch.
