    1980 gsx 750 vin plate location?

    hi there, just joined forum, have a uk model of the above, but assume the identification plates are in the same place,had a quick look this morning but couldn't see it, and don't have registration document just now, can anyone tell me where the plate is located on the bike please? many thanks, adam

    Should be right there on that steering neck, if the tag is gone the stamped Vin# should still be there.

    1980 GS 750E Bought new in Feb of 1980
    2015 CAN AM RTS


    Stuff I've done to my bike 1100E front end with new Sonic springs, 1100E swing arm conversion with new Progressive shocks installed, 530 sprockets/chain conversion, new SS brake lines, new brake pads. New SS fasteners through out. Rebuilt carbs, new EBC clutch springs and horn installed. New paint. Motor runs strong.

        Right side and may have to move the throttle cables aside a bit to get a clear look at it.

        I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.
