Partnumber headache

Hi all!

I finally going to order some part for my '82 GS550M, to continue the restoration. I am confused about part numbers and prices.

I am hassle with bearings now, I am try to change all of them. So, in my transmission there is a bearing, part number 09262-25051, wich is superseeded by 09262-25105.

So i find 09262-25105 at 35.66 dollars.

But I find 09262-25051 at 18.62 dollars.

They are showed up from a '91 GSX600F, but is the same bearing i think that sits in my bike.

The superceeded bearing is half the price of the superceeder.

What do you guys think, can I order the cheaper one, and it is the right bearing for me?

I live in Hungary, so I have to order from the US all the parts, so I will order a big pack of parts. I can't order just one bearing to try it, because I cant't change it back, if something is wrong with them.

09262-25051 is the original part. I'd order that one. Cheaper is a bonus. Sometimes Suzuki screws up the supercession too and the new parts don't fit the same as the old.

Thank you Nessim for the quick answer. I find a way cheaper solution! I find an exact match dimension bearing in the SKF catalog, and phoned some supplier. I hunt down one KOYO brand bearing in the end. I hope it is an exact match, it is the same ID and OD and With, and has a retaining circlip groove. I think the groove diameter and placement is standarised. I will grab the old bearing, and a vernier caliper with me, and before buying it, I will chek it, to be sure. This way, I have to order just the GS550 specific parts from the US. That will cut my cost in a great number. Lucky thing that Suzuki didn't use much non standard parts. Oh, and the price is 4 dollars. I am pretty sure, that circlips is standard sized too, so i grap some new ones from them. I will check all the bearings in the GS, I think I can buy them much cheaper from a general bearing supplier, than Suzuki. Except the crankshaft bearings, and the transmission LH, and RH bearing. The crankshaft bearings will stay untouched, and I order the specific bearings from the US. I will post a list with part numbers, if anyone interested.
