Anyone know where i can find a pdf shop manual for a 1979 gs425e? I've done a fair bit of searching and it really doesn't seem like a very common bike. I want to read up on it a bit before diving in. I found the bike on craigslist for a good price (have not bought it yet though). Took a good look at it today in the dark with flashlights and tools. Looks like a good candidate for a fix n flip but how hard is it to find parts? How's the cross-compatability with other bikes?

Great, thanks. I knew he had it there but i couldn't find it when i looked. I'll post pics if i remember and if i end up getting the bike. The kid is giving me some slight problems with the title (couldn't find it the other night, making excuses as to why i can't go pick it up now that he 'has' the title). He wasn't being terribly truthful in general in the sense that he obviously knew a lot less than he said about the bike.Comment
