    84 gs1150 starting problem

it's been sitting awhile it. Thinking carbs need to be cleaned not sure. Bad Gas? It wants to start and has started for a minute but very rough and with the choke all the way on. Just trying to get some suggestions new to wrenching on these. I'm thinking replace spark plugs and empty out old gas or clean carbs? Help needed.

Low voltage to the coils can really make an 1100+ hard to start.

Check the voltage to the coils. If it is dropping more than 1 volt from battery voltage (to coils) start cleaning connections or ignition relay mod.

If it has been sitting awhile & won't run without the choke, the pilot jets are plugged & need cleaned out.

I keep forgetting to repeat basic maintenance ass I'm assuming everybody would have done that before asking questions .
