    Gaskets

Quick question about gaskets! I have new gaskets for my carbs, cylinder head cover, breather cover, contact cover? (section i spin while checking valve clearance), and lastly not a gasket but the cylinder head plugs.. the PO seemed to have glued a few of these items in (i had to pull some chunks of stuck glue out of the inside of the cylinder head cover). my question is: what is the best way to install gaskets? is there a product to make it easier in the future to not destroy the gaskets every time? i don't think i salvaged a single gasket on this thing so far.

    Grease the gaskets before install.

Spray can of white lithium grease is easy to use, some use WD-40, anything really. I tried Anti-Sieze on a few, it didn't work so well.

Thanks! I'll try the spray can of lithium. At least if the do stick in the future gaskets are one of the cheaper parts hahaha.
