Timing marks and how to get off cylinder head cover

Hi. after half year I desided change valve sealing because it starts to eat oil and smooke lots. But just on the biggining I found two problems. I don't know which mark on signal generator mean TDC--see pictures-- there is mark - T which is alone and then 180 degrees mark -T with - F. And how to gently take off cylinder head cover without destroying gasket -- here I have to write that I changed gasket about 7 months ago .

    Thank you for any advice

I am pretty sure the T is tdc for 1-4 cylinders as far as removing the cam cover and gasket if you greased the gasket before fitting it then you should get it off ok if you put it on dry then it could well be stuck you need to take as much care as you can and hope it stays in one piece.

Remove all the cam cover bolts, then using rubber or plastic hammer, tap lighty on cover all around. The cover sits in two locating dowels on head, so it won't slide sideways, only up! Avoid prying on gasket surfaces.
Make sure you get correct cover gasket- 1982 models switched gaskets. When reinstalling cover on head, be careful with tach drive to ensure it meshes with camshaft drive before you tighten cover bolts down.
