What counts as 1 screw turn? Might be the most stupid question this year

I'm almost scared to ask, but I'm trying to double check everything I've adjusted to get my bike running.

When setting carb screws by "one turn", does that mean a full 360 rotation of the screw or just 180 degrees?

Promise this question isn't an early April fools joke, I'm just a crap mechanic.

360..... and don't worry, lots of us have wondered the same thing at one time or another

Yep, 360º. On a flathead screwdriver I usually go by the blade position and count by halves. 1/2 turn, 1, 1-1/2, etc.

Yep, one more confirmation that "one turn" is a full 360 degrees.

          And another .......
Doesn't help that we use phrases like turn around which is different to a twirl or do a 180.
Perhaps one revolution would be better.

Possibly, but a "revolution" just sounds so ... violent.

Don't you think 'Off with their heads' is appropriate for seized screws.

Thanks for cutting off my head with that one. Good I was working on the 360 thinking.

When i seat a screw I take the flat tip and make a witness mark inline with the slot. This gives me my 360 rotation of the screws ( 1 FULL turn as it were ).
