I am trying to make sure that the chain I am about to install is the right one. A relative threw a Tsubaki chain in my parts box and it was the wrong one. I need to know how many pins the chain is supposed to have. I believe it is 120 but i am not sure. Anybody know?

It appears that 120 is correct. FYI, a quick look at the online parts diagrams like those at Alphasport and Babbits will usually show the specs for things like chains, sprockets, rim sizes, etc. Even most nuts and bolts have their actual sizes embedded in the part number.'84 GS750EF (Oct 2015 BOM) '79 GS1000N (June 2007 BOM) -
